Tim Nimigan Napanee, ON (613) 354-1250 tim.nimigan@sympatico.ca Studio in Forest Mills - by appointment or chance Tim is a Fine Art graduate, University of Guelph '73 and a retired high school art teacher from Napanee. Known for his draughtmanship in graphite and charcoal, Tim is currently working at honing his skills as a colourist through a series of small oil pastel drawings, gouache and oil paintings. He says, "I don't know if it's a result of getting older, but I find my attention span isn't what it used to be. Therefore many of my recent works are smaller and looser. Loose is good. As for the size, there's an old Joe Fafard movie titled 'I Don't Have To Work That Big' that I think about a lot when I'm working. I'm enjoying the challenge of creating works that capture the feeling of much more space than one would expect from a small canvas or illustration board."
